Tuesday 4/27 - all day retreat in Rockwall, 11 am for lunch at yatch club. We're meeting at Dariah Morgan's house at 327 Columbia at 11 am. Bring your lunch. (The uncertainty of # of attendees made reservations at Yatch Club not possible.) We'll complete around 2pm. Directions: Take 30 east from Dallas, Exit Ridge Road, turn right (south) Plenty of restaurants here to pick up lunch, travel approximately 1 1/4 miles past an "S" in the road (sharp turn to right then sharp turn to the left)to entrance of Chandler's Landing. The entrace (H M Chandler Dr) is NOT obvious. Look for a medium sized American Flag. Immediately after turnng in, take the first right and drive up to guard house. Tell him you are here to see Dariah Margan. He will give you a pass. After guard house, turn left, go down 3 streets and turn right on Ranger and immediate left on Columbia. 327 is about 8 houses up on the left. Please bring slippers, wear comfortable socks or plan go barefoot in Dariah's house. Wedensday 5/12 - all day or overnight retreat at Lake Texoma. Prize for best pajamas! Artist Date Ideas: Dallas Arboretum is still quite beautiful and peaceful In North Dallas there is a beautiful garden open to the public at Valley House Gallery on the south side of Spring Valley between Hillcrest and Preston Rd. It is open between 10 am and 5 pm. and you can stop in the gallery as well. The garden reminds of the gardens Monet painted, water lilies and all. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
